I use this instrument to remove calculus that is slightly subgingival. It is small enough to fit subgingivally but large enough not to break with force necessary to remove the calculus. Thank you for recommending this instrument Michelle.
At no additional cost, Michelle fulfilled my request for a custom made curette with a different tip on each end. They gladly manufactures custom instruments for clinicians. They have many more instruments in stock that are not listed on the website.

I love this instrument company especially because they are clinicians.
