For years, i have used the standard flat scalpel handle for oral surgery. This was always bothersome to me because although the flat handle is ideal for straight line incisions associated with general surgery, it is not well suited for oral surgery where we are typically making circular incisions around teeth. Now i make my oral surgery incisions with ease, rolling the handle in my hand while making circular incisions.
